Our Pride & Joy
Hi Diane,
How are you all at Lifetime? We've referred a friend to Lifetime. We gave RAVING recommendations about the staff and services and how well you all take care of your families and handle business.
The kids are great. Vincent tested at a fourth grade reading level - he's seven and in the second grade! We're super proud of him, he just has to talk a lot in class. So we're dealing with that. Izabel is a true DIVA. She is blossoming each day into a litte lady. Her vocabulary is extraordinary and she loves to be the center of attention. Vincent is still her protector and they play so well together - he has even shared the playroom with her. It is beautiful to see them love each other so much and so well, a bond I know they'll have forever.
Have a Happy & Safe Thanksgiving,
Sean & LaLeche

Cute as a Bug!
Hi Diane,
Madilynn was a lady bug this Halloween. She is now five months old and doing really well. We have all the medical therapies in place now and she is making improvements every day. She has started to smile, is about to roll over and loves holding her toys.
Thanks again for all you do,
Michelle and Jerry

Craig & Jennifer Adopted a Baby Boy!
Baby Nijel Kekoa, born six pounds, three ounces, and 19 inches long. He's the love of our lives!
We remember checking the website on a daily basis at times, especially during the rough days when the thought of adopting a baby of our very own seemed like it would never happen. It gave us hope to know that families were actively being matched and bringing home their babies. We'd like to dearly thank everyone at Lifetime for making our dreams come true! Above all, we are forever grateful to and will always cherish Nijel's birthmother and birthfather!
We are SO thrilled to have this precious little bundle in our lives!

These Are the
Days to Remember
Hello everyone!
Ty began pre-school in August of this year; he is going two days a week and loves his teachers! He recently participated in his first school fundraiser (Trike-A-Thon). He did really well and completed 12 laps!
Also, spending time at the park is still his favorite past time. We are out at the park daily until the lights turn on. He has grasped the concept of the game "tag" now, so he plays it as often as he can with his friends. I must say, Ty is a pretty quick runner and the older kids can't just "jog" anymore. Along with tag, Ty is also enjoying playing soccer, football and most importantly (for him) tackle!
Ty is still very much into playing with his guitar and of course, the drums still rock! He! has a request for Santa already this year... a trumpet!
Swimming and playing in the pool is also still very high on Ty's priority list. He finished his swim lessons for the year and he can now float by himself for about half of the ABC song. He can also swim with scoopers across the pool with pop-up breaths! This was a huge accomplishment for him during this last set of classes. We are so very proud of much he learned and improved over the past session.
Ty took a different approach to his Halloween costume this year; I thought we were still going to have a firefighter; however it changed to a SWAT Officer! He loves police cars, SWAT guys, fire trucks, EMT's etc...heroes that save lives!
Take care,
Scott & Shelly

And Baby Makes Three
Hi Diane,
Our Lifetime baby Ayden-Elizabeth is now four months old. She is simply amazing and she is touching so many lives! She is growing soooo fast and we are still overjoyed just by her mere presence. We are striving each day to be the best parents we can to Ayden-Elizabeth and we are loving every minute watching her develop her personality (already a jokester like her dad!) and reaching monthly developmental milestones (already holding her bottle, scooting everywhere on the floor...you name it!)
By way, wanted you to know that her adoption has been finalized and we are glad it's all over where we can just enjoy her! Thanks again for everything!

A Promise Fulfilled!
We cannot express how thankful we are to receive such a special gift. Having this little girl in our lives is a constant reminder of God's faithfulness. It is so true that the Lord may not do things when and how you want them, but when He does, it is in His timing. You just stand back in amazement!
Destinee is a true blessing and a dream come true. We look forward to each and every day spent with her. We want to thank everyone at Lifetime who played a part in helping in this process. A special thanks to Destinee’s birthmother. She will never know how much she means to us. We are truly grateful. She will always be a special part of our lives.

The Greatest Miracle of All
We are so overjoyed with our new son! He got here via a rocky road, but he is here and that is all that matters. We prayed so much for this angel and God has answered our prayers. If we could share a word of advice, we would tell families to absolutely keep focused on the baby that they are praying for...all the legal issues and stress of the process will be done with at some point and your baby will have been worth the trouble ten-fold. Don't let anything stand in your way and don't give up. God hears your prayers and wants every one of His precious babies to have a family that will cherish what gift they have been blessed with. He needs you to be the vehicle for that to happen regardless of any obstacles, be it a wait, money, etc.
We would like to thank everyone at Lifetime, and especially Veronica who really was a rock for us when things got crazy.
Thanks,
Stephanie and Krisztian

Love at First Sight
Madilynn was born at 9:53, and weighed six pounds, eleven ounces and 19 inches long. It was love at first sight!
Our call came while Jerry was deployed. Michelle spoke with the birth mother on the phone several times before the due date.
She flew to California the day before the delivery, picked up Madilynn's birthmother and took her to the hospital, and was with her until Madilynn was born. It was such a special moment being in the delivery room when she was born! I was so greatful to the birthmother for having me in there for the delivery.
After Madilynn was born, there were medical complications. Our hearts just broke for our little girl. She was in the nursery for three days where she underwent many tests. She was then transferred to a NICU at a nearby hospital. We were here for another 10 days, underwent a further battery of tests. In the end it was found that she has a laryngeal cleft and she needed a feeding tube. We came home when she was 14 days old and then had to go back into hospital to get the feeding tube inserted and have a procedure to stop her reflux.
All though we have had our ups and downs with medical issues, this little girl is the love of our lives! Jerry was able to come home from his deployment for two weeks to meet her. She is now nine pounds, six and a half ounces, and although she will require the feeding tube for 12 months she is improving every day. She is the sweetest little girl, and she is such an easy baby. Our family is so BLESSED to have this little girl in our lives.
Thank you so much LIFETIME. No words can express just how happy you have made our family.
-Michelle and Jerry

Our New Arrival
Hello Veronica,
Trinity is doing extremely well! She sleeps through the night and holds her own bottle. Her pediatrician says that she is the perfect happy baby (if one really exists). Family on both sides just love her and always want to see her.
We have been so blessed that we have not had to buy clothes for her since we've been showered with so many gifts of baby clothes! Thank you all for you assistance! We can't wait for the adoption to be final.
Our Best,
Jerome & Tavonia

Dancing Through Life
Now that Sarah has determined that she has mastered the art of walking, she promptly dispensed with it entirely. Now life is about running, skipping, jumping and most important of all, dancing!
On rare occasions, Sarah does slow down for a while, and now that she has her first tea set, she really wants visitors to stop by for tea...

He's Our Heart & Soul
Hello Lifetime Family-
Our little boy is growing like crazy! He'll soon be six months old, and I can hardly remember what life was like before him! He's mastered rolling over and is working on scooting. He reaches for any and everything that comes within his reach (including the dogs), and he can bounce all day long if your arms can stand the workout. He has truly been a blessing to our family and friends, and has brought an enormous amount of happiness to our lives. Logan's birthmother is an angel, we can't say enough about her. She played a very important role in making us parents, and we will be forever grateful.
We are hoping to finalize in July, and are anxious to legally make Logan our son, but spiritually Logan is already our son. And we don't need any judge to tell us that. And I encourage all those waiting families to hold on, this too shall pass. And when you're able to hold that little one in your hands, it'll make all this waiting worthwhile. Lifetime- thanks for your continued support!

The Magic of Everyday
We wanted to make sure you stayed updated on what is going on with Xavier or "X-man" as my family calls him! He’s two years old now and into everything! As you can see in his picture, he is quite the character.
He is so far ahead of children his age, it is uncanny. His vocabulary floors us because it is so vast for a child of two years. He loves to get read to and he picks out the books he likes to hear and can tell the story in some of them. Potty training…well…that is still a journey! We figure any child that can tell us where to find his pull-ups and wipes can tell us when he needs to use the potty.
He is in the get out of bed stage and crawl into ours in the middle of the night. There’s nothing like waking up to a foot in your back! Gotta love him! He absolutely loves the drums, so we get concerts each and every day. Christ is important to him as well. He knows how to say his grace. He says his prayers in the mornings. I overheard him praying one morning in his room by himself. He and his nanny sing Christian songs during the day; so much so that he can sing the lyrics alone.
He is absolutely and joy to us and everyone he comes in contact with. His friendly demeanor (as long as he hasn’t just gotten up from a nap) melts the heart. He is truly a blessing in our lives. He thoroughly enjoys the company of other kids. He plays well with our godchildren and other kids he meets while he and his nanny are at the park. Until next time, may God continue to bless you abundantly!
Sincerely,
Mike, Alonia and Xavier

Our Adorable Ring Bearer
Hello Lifetime Angels,

Ty just asked to see his Lifetime Angels...He talks about you all the time.
Always,

Happy Spring!
Hope this finds your families doing well and enjoying the beautiful spring season!
Ty saw the Easter Bunny this year and of course, loved the Easter egg hunts and activities. Ty has been quite busy mastering his “Big Boy Bike" so he can eventually take off the training wheels.
During this time of the year, we are at the park until the sun goes down, needless to say, we stay busy! Ty is also practicing baseball more often, he can actually hit a ball that is pitched to him now! Watch out! Last but not least, Ty (aka: The Fish) is still swimming and improving every lesson. He has starting taking pop-up breathes on his own and is getting more comfortable floating now.
Take care and enjoy the season!
Love,
Scott & Shelly

We Cherish Each Moment
Hello Veronica,
Gabby now weighs 11 pounds now and her pediatrician said that she is very advanced developmentally for her age; she recognizes both of us, she is smiling and laughing in response to being talked to and played with, she follows you with her eyes as you move throughout the room and if she could get the words out, she would be talking already! She is very very strong, and is holding her head up like she is six months old and trying to sit forward on her own!
She is actually teething a little bit, discovering her hands, babbling up a storm and she loves watching TV. In addition to a thousand and one great developmental shows, there are programs that expose her to the Spanish language and we speak to her consistently in Spanish and in English. No better time than now to help teach her another language!
We are in awe of everything about her and she is probably one of the most photographed and videotaped babies out there! Every day, we are amazed at something new that she is doing. Her newest “thing” is pretending to be shy and laying her head down on my shoulder when someone talks to her, all the while showing them her absolutely beautiful smile. She is a true joy and we can’t get enough of her.
We are all so in love with her and tell everyone that every single thing about her is perfect, beautiful and blessed and we cherish every single moment of our lives with her.

Life is Sweet
We just want to thank everyone there at Lifetime that has worked with us throughout this whole adoption journey. We have experienced many different emotions during this process and there were times that we felt like we would never make it to this point! But looking back now, we know that every experience was necessary in order to be blessed with our baby girl!
Now that she is here, we can't imagine what life was like without her! Not only did we get a wonderful baby girl, we have the most wonderful birth mother that anyone could have asked for!! Nothing could be sweeter! We are truly blessed!
