About Me

My name is Jennifer Elaine. I am a single Christian female. I have never been married; I have not met the right person. However, I have always dreamed of having a family, and have made the decision to become a single mother. I think you will discover my home would be a loving and nurturing place to raise your child. It will be built around unconditional love, safety, honesty, openness and spiritual growth with time for plenty of fun. Being a loving mother is my number one priority.

My Career

I am financially stable, working as a Corporate Accounting Manager for a large international manufacturing company. I also am the book keeper for a small minority-owned government contractor. I enjoy my career and work very hard at it.

I am emotionally strong and that stems from my childhood in a loving home that will serve as my model. I am the oldest of three children and my brother was adopted into our family as a baby.

My Hobbies and Interests

I learned to play the piano as a child and played for my church’s youth choir for 15 years. My fondest memory is watching children come into the choir, literally sing their hearts out, and grow into active Christian adults. I served my church in capacities ranging from assistant youth director to head of Vacation Bible School and summer camp.

In my spare time I enjoy movies, especially comedies, and books. I have concentrated on African American writers. Some of my favorites are Victoria Christopher Murray, E. Lynn Harris, and Pearl Cleage.

My Family

Even though I will be a single mother, I have a strong support network and the child will be surrounded by quality people. My parents have been married for more than 40 years. My father is retired from the U.S. Government and my mother was a special education teacher. They always stressed the importance of education and taught us to be good, honest people. I think they did a fabulous job raising their children because we all have succeeded.

My sister is happily married with two adorable sons. She obtained her Master’s degree in Health Physics and works for the government. She is incredibly intelligent and is a wonderful and caring mother to her children. My younger brother is single. He recently graduated from college and is just starting out in life. I have a dog, Halfpint, who is playful and is great with children.

My Home and Faith

I have a two-year-old five bedroom, three bath house. It has an open floor plan with lots of room. I have an ample yard for outside play. There is a playground across the street in the small Georgia community where I live. There are many neighborhood children and they often play outside. There is a wealth of activities and schools near my home that will serve us well.

My faith is one of the most important things in my life. With God all things are possible and obtainable. Prayer is a daily part of my life.

My Promise to You

My promise to you is to provide your child with unconditional love, honesty, openness, education and spiritual growth. I commit to surrounding your child with unconditional love from me and my extended family. I promise to letting your child know he or she is adopted and is part of two special families. More importantly, I will share the story the story of how we became a family. In openness, I commit to sharing my life transparently to help the child learn as much as they can from me. I commit to sharing as much as you would like of your history to ensure your child knows all about who they truly are. I commit to provide a quality education. I will ensure your child has access to the best possible schools, including college. I commit to providing a strong spiritual basis for your child. I will consistently provide opportunities to learn, fellowship and grow under God’s precious care.
