Dear Birthmother,
We have been married for 17 years and we have wanted to be parents and to raise a family. We are best friends and our marriage is based on unconditional love, trust, communication and respect. Being challenged with infertility, we believe that God had another plan for us… adoption. We adopted our daughter, Sophia four years ago and enjoy a very open relationship with her birth parents. About UsWe were both raised in the Midwest with Christian morals and values. Amy grew up on a farm where she cared for animals and enjoyed activities like drawing, crocheting, playing piano and gardening. Mitch grew up in the suburbs where he played baseball, basketball and football. Our favorite things to do as a family are visiting with friends and family, going to theme parks, zoos, the park and the beach. We can’t wait to share our talents and our favorite things with another child.
About MitchMitch is my hero and I am very proud to be his wife. He is a very loving and compassionate man with a great sense of humor. He is passionate about life and loves to help people. As a Police Officer, he is a great protector and provider. Mitch is a very good athlete and loves to play basketball, baseball and football. His love for sports has compelled him to donate his time as a basketball coach and youth mentor at the local YMCA. Mitch takes pride in being the best husband and father he can be. He always puts his family first, whether he is at the park with Sophia or grocery shopping for the family. About AmyAmy is my soul-mate and best friend. I fell in love with her gentle, tender way from moment I met her. I knew she was the one I would spend the rest of my life with and asked her to marry me after dating for only three months. I love her infectious smile and quirky sense of humor. I can’t believe she still laughs at my jokes after 17 years! Amy likes to do anything creative, especially crocheting, sewing and decorating. Being a Mom comes naturally to her. She loves to paint, do crafts, read books and play board games with Sophia. Family is the most important thing in her life. She has devoted her life to being a great wife and mother. About SophiaSophia is a very active four-year old who can’t wait to have a brother or sister to laugh, learn, play and grow up with. She is very affectionate, funny and adventurous and her favorite things are; the beach, the zoo, the park, and theme parks. She loves outdoor activities like riding her bike and playing ball with her neighborhood friends. She also likes making crafts and baking cookies, playing with dolls, singing and dancing to her favorite songs. Sophia cannot wait to introduce her new brother or sister to Disneyland!

from Sophia's birthmother. Our HomeLiving in Southern California gives us countless opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. The beach, zoo, and several theme parks are only a short drive away. We live in a very family-oriented community with several parks and schools that are within walking distance from our home.
We chose our home because it is the perfect place to raise a family. We have a large, four bedroom home with a big yard, located in the middle of a cul-de-sac. Our neighbors are very friendly and several of them also have young children. Sophia and the neighborhood children love to ride bikes, play ball and draw pictures with sidewalk chalk together. The inside of our home has a large play-room with a built-in chalk board and lots of toys to play with.
