About Us

We are a young, hardworking, fun-loving, couple who met over 10 years ago (married over 6). We are truly best- friends, still very much in love and very supportive of one another. Brandon has quickly climbed the ranks within the U.S. Navy over the past 14 years. While we are a military family we have had the blessing to remain located within Kiesha’s home state of Virginia the past 10 years. Because of Brandon’s expertise we will be afforded the opportunity to stay here permanently- thus allowing us to remain surrounded by family. Brandon loves sports, cars and card games. Together we love to travel and counsel youths and couples (relationships/finances). In addition, we are surrounded by nieces, nephews and cousins ranging from age 4 to 24 that constantly keep us “hip” and on our toes – it’s like a forever fountain of youth around here.

Kiesha is a college graduate with a degree in Political Science and a minor in English. Kiesha has enjoyed thirteen years as senior management in the Insurance industry. Kiesha’s hobbies and interests are shopping, traveling, cooking, reading, sports, family gatherings, ballet recitals, and cheerleading competitions to support her nieces.

Brandon is God fearing and very strong. He is the “emotional” one of the family - he loves to love. Brandon is hard-working and always thinks about what’s best for his family. Spending numerous summers with his grandfather truly prepared him for the man and husband he is today and the father he will be tomorrow.

Brandon comes across as quiet to those who he doesn't know. He can be soft, but strong spoken; patient, but very observant. Brandon is competitive and strives for only the best. 

Brandon’s heart is made of gold and just the thought of his baby girl makes him smile from ear to ear. He’s excited about being a provider, a protector, a father and a daddy! 

Why We Are Adopting

We tried to conceive for over five years, but after several failed infertility procedures we realized that wasn’t God’s plan. Without a shadow of doubt we believe God’s plan is for us to open our hearts, home, family and friends to a special birth mother and her baby girl. We are elated to be adopting for the first time.

Where We Live

We reside in a safe, diverse, suburban neighborhood. Our neighborhood is just a few miles away from the ocean, amusement parks, museums, historical sites and various colleges. We have a neighborhood park complete with swings, slides, trees and picnic areas. We are in an excellent school district and the local library, YMCA and hospital is less than 2 miles away. Our home is a loving place, a safe haven, a homework station and a place where you are sure to have a great time. Our home is filled with lots of love, laughter and support. We have a three story 5 bedroom home with a spacious fenced backyard, large family room and a theater room for movie nights. Our neighbors have children so our bundle of joy will have other children to play with.

We have a nursery’s theme - a fairytale palace taken from the Disney movie "The Princess and the Frog." With two beautiful bassinets and a closet full of clothes, pampers, bottles and accessories this nursery is fitting for our little PRINCESS… And there’s more to come at her "Welcoming Shower"!

Our Faith and Family

Christian/ Baptist – We absolutely love the Lord and acknowledge that all blessings come from him. We try to live a lifestyle that is nothing less than pleasing to God. Our foundation in Christ comes from our great-grandmothers.

Our entire family, friends and co-workers are excited. Everyone is so supportive and can’t wait until our little blessing arrives. We are so supported by our family with love and showered by gifts for our bundle of joy. The most beautiful element of it all is that our bundle of joy will be received as our family’s blessing and there will never be a day that she will be taken for granted. Her name will be lifted up everyday in prayer as Kiesha and I and our family ensures she is loved, protected ad cherished.

Our Preferences

We believe that it will be no coincidence in matching with you. Our prayer list would include a baby girl age newborn to six months, African-American or African-American Bi-racial (with any other nationality). We are very much open to photos, emails, letters, annual visits as well as minimal to no contact.

Our Promise to You

To our birthmother, you have given us such a precious gift and in return our promise to you is to love, support and nurture our daughter. To teach her about the word of Christ and what it means to be a strong positive citizen. We promise to afford her every opportunity possible that will enrich her life and development her into the most beautiful daughter (inside and out) that you (the Birth Mother) and I would have her to be.
